PT Smelting participated in the East Java CSR Coordination Meeting organized by the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPEDDA) of East Java at Hotel Santika Premier Gubeng, Surabaya, on November 29, 2025. The event gathered companies within the East Java CSR Forum, a community actively engaged in supporting sustainable development across the region.
The meeting was attended by Ir. Mohammad Yasin, M.Si., Head of BAPEDDA East Java, and Adhy Karyono, A.Ks., M.AP., Regional Secretary of East Java. During the session, BAPEDDA presented several program options for companies to support regional needs, including socio-economic development, community empowerment, and environmental initiatives.
Muhammad Fuad, Acting Assistant Section Manager General Affairs at PT Smelting, stated:
"Our participation in this coordination meeting reflects PT Smelting’s commitment to continuous collaboration with the government and fellow companies. We believe that strong synergy will create more focused and sustainable CSR programs that bring significant benefits to the people of East Java."
Additionally, the CSR Forum management was invited to speak during the discussion, sharing experiences and outlining collaborative steps for future CSR programs. PT Smelting, currently serving as Secretary I of the East Java CSR Forum, reaffirmed its commitment to active collaboration with the government and fellow companies.
On this occasion, PT Smelting also received recognition from BAPEDDA East Java for its active contribution as a member of the CSR Forum and its tangible impact on communities through various CSR programs. (MPP)
